Johana Baldeón Aguirre

Johana is an attorney from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, with focused training in Intellectual Property and Community Law. She joined Guerrero Intellectual Property in 2022 and currently leads the International Office Department, managing regional trademark portfolios for both national and international clients. She is also part of the firm’s Litigation Team, focusing on administrative proceedings, copyright enforcement, anti-piracy actions, trademark infringement, and appeals before IP authorities.

Throughout her career, she has participated in various academic workshops and international conferences organized by ASIPI. She is an active member of ASIPI and INTA.​

Johana has been part of Guerrero Intellectual Property since 2022. Her work has focused primarily on administrative proceedings, anti-piracy measures, copyright protection, infringement cases, and appeals. Since 2024, she has led the International Office, overseeing the regional management of trademark portfolios across Latin America.

Education: Law degree from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Her graduation thesis was titled: “Active Legitimation for the Cancellation of Trademark Registration Due to Lack of Use in Ecuador.”

Active member of ASIPI (Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property) and INTA (International Trademark Association). Participant in international conferences and working sessions in the field of Intellectual Property.
